We’ve been in the manufacturing business since 1920 and when it comes to creating bespoke frying ranges, we want your business to be equipped with the best possible kit.
To help you get to know us better and gain a better understanding of what we can do for you, we’re answering some of our most frequently asked questions.
1. Do your frying ranges come with a guarantee?
We offer a market-leading 8 year warranty on our pans, as well as a 12 month parts and labour warranty on the other components within the range. When the time comes to replace parts through the normal cycle of wear and tear, we offer the best value across the board.
2. How long does it take to install a frying range?
We’ve installed and commissioned ranges in a single day when the shop has been prepped and the extraction system is relatively simple. In most cases, we would normally suggest a two-day window.
3. What happens if I need to replace any frying range parts?
We have a comprehensive spare parts catalogue in our online shop where you can browse and complete your purchase at a time that suits you.
We also make various bespoke items such as hot cupboards to keep prepared food hot for your click and collect and delivery customers, blanching racks for your baskets, bain maries with drawers and doors, tables, utensil boxes, and more.
If you want advice about which parts you need or want to discuss your requirements, our experienced gas and electrical engineers are on hand to help answer your questions. Call us on 01706 299000 or email email@example.com.
4. What are the benefits of purchasing a frying range from Mallinson’s of Oldham?
Mallinson’s is a 100 year old company, steeped in the proud history and values of great British manufacturing. Every one of our frying ranges is constructed by hand at our factory in Lancashire, made to your precise requirements and built to last.
With our market-leading warranties, value for money, and customer-focused approach, we know that the best option is a Mallinson’s range.
5. Do you tailor your quotes?
Yes we do. No two shops are the same. The space available will often dictate the best solution. No two fryers are the same!
Every fryer has their own way of doing things, their own preferences about the way things should be. For example, the size of the pans, analogue vs. digital clocks, whether you serve scraps, different display cabinets for fish, pies, and fried chicken, and the nature of the extraction system required, among other factors.
All these differences and more demand a flexible and tailored approach to pricing and we always provide fully customised quotes after every site visit. Contact us to find out more.
6. What finishes do you offer for both the range and counter?
All of our ranges come with downlight LEDs as standard, but there are three main finishes that chip shop customers generally choose between:
Formica – This is available in hundreds of colours, designs and effects, including metallic, wood, concrete, quartz and more.
Bolero – Our very own curved steel design is often combined with a backlit laser cut shop logo in the middle of the range.
Vinyl wrap – Here you are only limited by your imagination as we can produce any image on commercial grade fire rated vinyl, bringing a truly unique, personalised look to your shop.
We hope this blog has helped answer your questions about Mallinson’s, our services, and the benefits we provide. For any more queries that we haven’t covered, get in touch with our friendly team and we’ll be happy to help.
